LCFA is a combination fire district covering northwest Laramie County. Our fire and rescue personnel are well trained to approach, analyze and understand each emergency situation with close attention to detail. That way they can quickly assess and act upon every crisis they encounter. Our goal is to protect life, property and th environment. You should feel confident knowing that should an emergency occur, we’ll be there immediately for you.

WILDLAND PROGRAM
The LCFA Wildland Program provides wildland specific resources including specially trained firefighters and specific apparatus for local, state, and federal response. This self sufficient program does not cost district tax payers additional money and in fact, has been able to purchase additional apparatus for local response only.

RESIDENCY PROGRAM
Experience a unique opportunity while earning a Fire Science Degree! Students must live at the station in comfortable dorm-style rooms while receiving up to $1500 per semester for tuition and books. Students will receive a monthly living stipend ranging from $350 to $475, all while gaining invaluable hands-on training in the field as an intern. Join us and take the first step towards a rewarding career in the fire service.
